Killybrooke Elementary School asked me to provide music for their annual Jog-a-Thon again this year. I look forward to doing this event every year.

I saw a lot of familiar faces and kids that remembered me from prior years.

It was a lot of fun. Perfect weather with lots of motivated kids. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I had a chance to DJ at The Crosby in Downtown Santa Ana again this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun. My friend, Might, went on immediately after me.

Marisol’s Birthday Party

This party was a trip down memory lane!

Marisol is my middle school best friend’s cousin (woah, tongue twister). I used to DJ for their family all the time in middle school and high school.

I saw lots of old friends and family that I haven’t seen in a while.

Marisol had a grand ol’ time and so did I.

Orange Coast Auto Holiday Party

Orange Coast hired me to DJ their annual holiday party this year. It was great.

The night was very classy. There were black jack tables, a photobooth, and a craps table.

I provided background music for most of the night. People seemed to enjoy themselves at the dinner table and playing tables.

The raffle had some amazing items including numerous HDTVs, vacation packages, and gift cards.

I ended the night strongly with fun dance music that everyone seemed to enjoy.

Costa Mesa Middle School Blacklight Party

Last Drive of the Night

I finished this mixtape relatively quickly. I would play around with the tracks at the beginning of my gigs and fine tune it at home. I was having trouble thinking of a title since it was a bit eclectic and down-tempo.

I was brainstorming ideas when I remembered Stones Throw recently released a new version of J. Dilla’s Donuts and I thought it would be nice to open with a track from that album.

I chose to open with my favorite track, Last Donut of the Night.

My friends and I have been obsessed with that Ryan Gosling movie, Drive, and its amazing soundtrack.

I started with Last Donut of the Night and ended with the movie’s theme song–hence, Last Drive of the Night was born.

I hope everyone likes it. I always wanted to do a lounge mixtape, but I didn’t want it to limit it to just that genre.

Dedicated to the great artists that are no longer with us; J. Dilla, Teddy Pendergrass, and the recently late, one and only, overweight lover, Heavy D.

Danny’s Birthday Party

Danny had his birthday party at Arturo’s Cantina & Grill in Fullerton.

This was an awesome venue for me as they put me on the main stage where they usually have bands and mariachis play. I had lights flashing on me all night. Haha.

The night was filled with fun with lots of good food and drinks. They even showed the Paquiao vs. Marquez fight, albeit a mixed crowd of fans. Haha.

Eric and Randi’s Wedding

Eric and Randi planned to have their wedding on 11-11-11.

They had their ceremony and reception at Placentia Women’s Club. It was an amazing night with perfect weather to match their fall color theme.

It was absolutely perfect night. Everyone had a good time dancing. I dropped a couple of 50 cent songs for the newly married groom. Haha.

Rob and Chelsea’s Wedding

Rob is good friends with my friend Eric and has seen me DJ a number of parties in the past and immediately hired me when planning his wedding.

They had their reception at Irvine’s Strawberry Farm’s Barn. It was absolutely beautiful and utterly perfect.

Chelsea had a surprise slideshow showcasing her life with her dad. It was a very touching moment

The night was filled with fun. There was great food, a fun photo booth, and dancing throughout the night.
